Chainsaw Man và Jujutsu Kaisen thống trị đề cử tại Anime Awards 2024
Bên cạnh hai chiến thần Chainsaw Man và Jujutsu Kaisen, mùa mới nhất của Oshi No Ko và Vinland Saga cũng lọt vào danh sách đề cử của Giải thưởng Anime năm nay.
Sau một thời gian công bố các hạng mục đề cử, vào ngày 17/1, Crunchyroll đã tổng hợp đầy đủ danh sách các gương mặt được chọn ra bởi ban giám khảo cho Giải thưởng Anime 2024. Lễ trao giải sẽ được phát trực tuyến từ Tokyo vào ngày 2/3, với phần bình chọn được thực hiện bởi cộng đồng người hâm mộ anime trên nền tảng này.

Chainsaw Man là cái tên đầu tiên thu hút sự chú ý của khán giả khi thống trị danh sách với 25 đề cử trên 32 hạng mục của giải thưởng năm nay. Chiếm vị trí Á Quân là mùa thứ hai của Jujutsu Kaisen khi xuất sắc giành về 17 đề cử, trong đó có các hạng mục quan trọng như Anime of the Year và Best Continuing Series. Cuối cùng, đồng hạng ba là mùa mới nhất của Oshi No Ko và Demon Slayer với tổng cộng 12 đề cử cho mỗi tác phẩm.
Một số đề cử cũng nổi bật không kém như Suzume, Blue Giant và The First Slam Dunk đều góp mặt trong hạng mục Best Film; Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch From Mercury, Do It Yourself!! và Akiba Maid War đều được đề cử cho Best Original Anime; còn Chainsaw Man và Jujutsu Kaisen mùa 2 thì cùng “tranh tài” tại Best Director.

Đầu tháng 1 vừa qua, nhiều nguồn tin cho biết đạo diễn Ryu Nakayama của Chainsaw Man đã rời MAPPA để thành lập một công ty sản xuất phim hoạt hình mới có tên là Andraft. Trên thực tế, Nakayama không phải là người đầu tiên rời đi, mà trước đó còn có cả Sunghoo Park, đạo diễn mùa đầu tiên của Jujutsu Kaisen, người cũng chia tay với studio để đầu quân cho E&H Production, một xưởng sản xuất do anh thành lập vào năm 2021.
Cổng bình chọn cho Giải thưởng Anime 2024 của Crunchyroll hiện đã mở và sẽ diễn ra cho đến ngày 27/1 vào lúc 2:59 phút sáng theo múi giờ miền Đông – Bắc Mỹ (ET). Toàn bộ phiếu bầu, bao gồm cả phiếu bầu của ban giám khảo, đều sẽ được kiểm kê bí mật và chuyển qua cho bên thứ ba trung lập trước khi tổ chức lễ trao giải. Theo đó, tại buổi trao giải Anime Awards, các tác phẩm chiến thắng sẽ được công bố trong buổi phát trực tuyến trên trang web Giải thưởng Anime của Crunchyroll.
